Mr. Bermudez served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. He worked in Lackland Dining facility at LAFB. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, the San Antonio Spurs and the Texas Longhorns. He also loved to go fishing, hunting, dancing and playing pool.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Daria Bermudez; one sister Irene Hinojosa; 3 brothers Manuel; Juan Jr. and Enrique Bermudez.
Robert is survived by his spouse Rosalinda Molina; 1 son Roberto Bermudez Jr., 2 sisters Guadalupe B. Hinojosa (Gilberto) and Maria Reyes (Joe). 2 grandchildren, 1 niece; Esmeralda Luna (David) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held today, Thursday February 13, 2014 from 10am – 9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 10am with a committal service to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Military Honors will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2035 Honor Guard.
