Mr. Gonzalez was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He also served his country proudly and was proud to be a veteran. In addition he was a Boy Scout Master, Army Tanker and a church Usher.
Raul Gonzalez is preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years Manuela F. Gonzalez and his sister Lupe Buitureida and his parents Jesus and Evangelina Gonzalez.
Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his children, Janie (Coy) Choate, Eva ( Rick) Mancillas, Raul ( Eloisa) Gonzalez Jr., Lucy ( Joe) Escobedo and Jesus (Patty) Gonzalez; grandchildren Michelle ( Steve) Turner, Esteban (Kellye) Burgos, Veronica ( Edgar Ochoa) Gonzalez, Cindy Gonzalez, Vanessa Gonzalez, Lisa Marie Avalos, Rick Mancillas, Marissa Escobedo, Danny Gonzalez, Stephanie Gonzalez and Aaron Gonzalez; great-grandchildren, Renee Hernandez, Jace Turner, Ricardo Ochoa Jr., Briana Ochoa, Victoria Ochoa, Knox Burgos and various nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers Coy Choate, Steve Turner, Joe Escobedo, Esteban Burgos, Rick Mancillas and Johnny Flores. Honorary Pallbearers Danny Gonzalez and Ricardo Ochoa.

Visitation will be held today Friday, April 19, 2013 from 10 am to 9pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with a Holy Rosary at 7pm.
Funeral Mass at Christ the King on Saturday, April 20, 2013 with committal to follow to Buena Vista Burial Park.
