Painter since the age of 15 when she began her studies under the tutelage of the artist Enrique Poblador in Torreon, Coahuila, place of her birth. Her unique works have been features in various cities and museums on both sides of the border. She shared her skills and love of art as a teacher for 10 years at the Matamoros seminary (seminario menor). She shared her hope and faith through her involvement with parish bible study schools in both Matamoros and Brownsville. She was loved. She will be missed. And she will be remembered as a wife, as a mother, as a grandmother, and as a friend.
