A shy, quiet, God-loving woman. She loved gardening, crocheting, going to the casino, and playing bingo. She was a terrific cook and loved making tortillas- especially when she knew the grandkids were coming. The tortillas would fly off that comal, and you could see the pride and joy on her face. One day she remarked, " I've had a hard life! " So, we reminded her of those big picnics we had; and the Christmases at her house, where you could only see half the tree because of the gifts; the happy chaos of the kids; and what about the sledding trip? Sure, you tore your coat, but made it all the way down! And all the weddings, remember them? Then she smiled and said, " I really did have a good life, didn't I?"
