Esmeralda Trevino

Esmeralda (Lala) Reyes Trevino, a beautiful person, a wonderful woman, a wife, a sister, a grandmother, a mom, and a friend. Even though she spent her life in silence, her smile was more than words can say. Those of us lucky enough to spend any time with her can tell you so. we will greatly miss her.

Esmeralda is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Trevino Sr, her sons Jose Luis (Louie) Trevino Jr., Joseph Lewis Trevino (Valeria Trevino), and her daughter Lorenza Leticia (Lori) Zamora (Joseph Bryan Zamora), her sisters Modesta (Molly) Vogel (James R. Vogel), Maria De Jesusa (Mary) Reyes, Irma Mcfadden (Roy Mcfadden), her brothers Reyes Reyes (Juanita Reyes) and Juan Ramon (Ray) Reyes and her sister in laws, Romula Reyes and Maria R. Reyes.

Esmeralda was preceded in death by her father Ramon G. Reyes, her mother Leticia S. Reyes, her brothers Encarnacion(Chon) Reyes, Juan Ramon (Raymond) Reyes, Catarino Erasmo (Cata) Reyes, Eusebio (Chevito) Reyes, Rejino (Reno) Reyes, her sisters Viviana (Vivian) Garza and Julia Reyes.

Mrs. Reyes Trevino also leaves 8 grandchildren: Lucio Zamora, Liliana Trevino, Maryjane Zamora, Jose L. Trevino III, Joseph Trevino Jr, Marley Zamora, Neci Trevino and Jacob Trevino; and 3 step-grandchildren: Aleika Zamora, James Zamora and Halie Zamora.

A visitation for Esmeralda will be held Monday, July 31, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX. 78526. A rosary will occur Monday, July 31, 2023, at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 9:00 AM. A burial will occur Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX. 78526.
