Elias was born in San Benito, TX on July 19, 1934. He served in the U.S. Air Force in 1952-1956 during the Korean War. He worked as a toll collector for Cameron County for 32 years. He was a lifelong member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and American Legion. He graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in Accounting from Texas Southmost College. He was married to his loving wife for 56 years. He went into eternal rest on October 6, 2018 with his loving wife by his side.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Maria Luisa Carr, children Jesus Carr, Jose Carr, Martin Carr, Rodolfo Carr, Maria Lourdes De Carlo, Esequiel Carr, Cristina Carr-Gonzalez and Emmanuel Carr, 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 12pm to 10pm with a rosary at 7pm in Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista. Chapel Service on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 10am at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista followed by burial at Buena Vista Burial Park.
