At the age of 17 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he was stationed in Hawaii from 1955 - 1959.
Later, he proudly served the Brownsville community while establishing his professional career with the Brownsville Fire Department from 1969 - 2001.
Throughout his career, he climbed the ranks where he had the privilege of retiring after over 32 years of service with the honor of being appointed the first Chief Administrator for the Brownsville Fire Department.
He enjoyed listening to the oldies, BBQing, watching westerns and cheering for his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
He will be dearly missed by his loved ones.
He is survived by Raquel Amador Sepulveda, wife; his children Patricia S. Arguelles (Jose Eugenio); Antonio Sepulveda Jr. (Liza); Suzanne Castillo (Carlos Alberto); his grandchildren Dr. Forrest Arguelles (Courtney), Ariel Arguelles, Nicolette Arguelles, Anthony M. Sepulveda, Desirae D. Sepulveda (Gilbert), Aden L. Sepulveda, Savannah M. Sepulveda, Destiny D. Castillo, Savannah S. Castillo; his sister Ma Concepcion "Connie" Solis (Alfredo†) and his loving life partner Connie Canales.
He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Antonio was preceded in death by his father Eleuterio Sepulveda†, his mother Juana Jaimes Sepulveda† and his brother Eleuterio Sepulveda Jr.†.

A visitation for Antonio will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM in Chapel of Peace at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
