Adrian is preceded in death by his mother Guadalupe Vasquez, father Adrian Garcia, and brother Pablo Galvan.
Adrian prided himself in his work. Adrian graduated from Brownsville High School and entered the workforce right away. He was employed by Norton Company from the age of 22 before retiring January 2017. While at Norton, Adrian was a top machinist and soon became a supervisor. He even went back to school and obtained his Associates Degree from Texas Southmost College with concentration on welding/machining. Adrian did this all while being employed full time and still managed to make time for his family.
He loved to give back and always found time for those in need of a hand. Adrian volunteered as a Homer Hanna Band Booster, and served as a Sombrero Festival VP for Para Los Ninos activities for many years.
On his off time, he could be found cleaning or riding his Harley motorcycle. Adrian also enjoyed football season and attending Dallas Cowboys games with friends and family.
A family man through and through, Adrian was a father figure to many and his legacy will live on through the countless lives he's touched throughout his lifetime.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Norma Harfeny Garcia, son Adrian Garcia III, daughters: Stacy (Jesus) Garcia Serna and Roxanne Garcia; sisters: Modesta G. Gonzalez, Socorro Garcia-Torres, and Maria Garcia; brothers: Jose Garcia and Albert Garcia, and granddaughter Catalina Serna.
A mass for Adrian will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 10:00am at Immaculate Conception Church, 128 E Jefferson, Brownsville, TX 78520. Following the mass will be a burial at 12:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 McDavitt , Brownsville TX 78521.
