Dearest Touch, I just cannot believe you've left us. My heart goes out to your family. You were one of the good ones, my 1st cdn ship son! My first contract on the Constellation, we spent so much time together with Conny, Cristina, Gwen and Nicos! I will miss you my dear friend. Rest easy until we meet on the seas again Touch. I thought of you many times just a few days before I saw the news and still didn't want to believe that you were saying goodbye.

Sorry for the world for losing such a intelligent, bright, inspiring and kind person.

Touch, you will be truly missed, you bought so much happiness in so many people's lives. Ur craziness and spontaneous personality will be missed. Who am I going to negotiate for a time slot to have the rental car during dry docks 😘😘

A wonderful person, loyal friend, and hardworking colleague. Touch always made every experience a fun one - even replacing crew mattresses! So sad that our paths will not cross again on land or sea, but memories will last forever.

My condolences to family friends and many many crew members who shared memories and experiences. Touch will be remembered and missed by all of us.

Our entire friends and family around the world have been blessed to have you part of our journey together. I truly miss and think of you everyday. I loved how your laugh just made me burst inside with happiness. We shared a lot together, from ‘Touch Tours’ around Asia ( we did a lot), going to the new theme park in Halong Bay, taking me round Singapore for the delicious dinner which we always reminisced about. Not to mention the crazy times on all the dry docks and getting the ships back online in St Maarten, one of your favourite places to visit. Extremely proud to of worked so closely with you at multiple levels, you are such an inspirational, dedicated and caring  leader and friend to everyone you met.We miss you Touch! Love you buddy!x 

Still cant believe you are gone.  You are one of the so special person I ever meet in my life you stay One of the best Managers o ever work with. Touch Ung was my manager and helped me greatly throughout my life. He was also there to offer help and support. He always went out of his way to help others. Touch was above all an humanitarian, he was strict and adhered to procedure but always brought out the best in others. He was a diplomat and always brought people  together into a unified team.  I fondly remember his love of food and sport. He was a visionary and a great leader and I am proud to have known him and to have had his guidance in my life. Above all he was my friend.  He will be fondly remembered and missed. 


Met Touch during the Revolution Drydock... heard so much about him. It was an honor to meet him and to be guided by him through the projects.... From ML DD to SI DD, he always welcome us to the ship with little gifts from Canada or the port that we are joining. An eternal Foodie, he knew the best place to go to have an amazing times among friends and colleagues... The photo attached is from one of our hidden spot in Cadiz(with the spanish accent). He always found joy and positivity in any situations... I cannot remember one day where he did not smile or make us smile and laugh.... I will always remember him talking about his kids aka the cats and how he took care of them.... So many memories .... one last things thank you Touch for finding our own Malala in DRGIR Anto :) Rest in peace  my friend... 

Touch have touched and inspired so many of us..It’s so hard to forget someone who gave so much to remember...we love you and we thank you for everything...smooth sailing brother...

In my 16 years with Celebrity most of my contract always under his management. He is so generous with all us at the Desk, kind and most of all always give a helping hand in times of  family matter back home. When my mom died instead of compassionate leave, he give me a full vacation. For me to be with my family. 

There are some people who change the very space they occupy and you were one of those Touch. Your smile and energy never failed to motivate the team and your sense of adventure was bar none. You will be missed. 



You will always be in our hearts and memory of a beautiful part of our life. Cheers to you my friend, wherever you are! Touch Tours will continue to honor your memory ❤️

Touch :  I never got that game of Techmo Super Bowl against you, but from what I heard about your legendary skills, I have a feeling that that was your way of sparing me the embarrassment of a crushing defeat. You were always cool with me, Dude. I had often noticed you shine through your generosity, & your classy way of carrying yourself. I want to thank you for all the good times we shared. On the boat ride down the River of Life, we all get on & off at different ports of call. I believe that we all end up seeing each other again on the other side. Until then, my Friend, keep the beat a-going, & the drinks a-flowing.

I had been blessed to have met and worked with so many amazing people during my time on Ships. A contract and a destination that will always stick out for me was the Asia Seasons on the Millennium. This is where I had the chance to work along side Touch. It was a very hectic time for my team on the tours side of things but it couldn’t have been any easier for the team that touch leaded. He had a larger team and a greater responsibility but no matter what, never did I see him flustered or in a bad mood. Touch had a way of putting on a poker face that initially baffled me. I got the wrong read of him at first so I kept my distance, but once I got to know him then it was a totally different guy. He is sharp as a tack and always willing to teach. He had a wicked sense of humor and an infectious laugh. It was an honor and a privilege to have worked along side you and to consider you a friend. “We shall never see his like again”  Rest in peace brother.

Through your mentorship, you’ve had good answers and solutions for everything that needed to be addressed. I’ve learned things that would never have crossed my mind through your tutelage, and I’d like to thank you for the difference you’ve made in my career. Your useful and excellent advice will always remain with me. You have been such an exemplary mentor, and I cannot thank you enough. I appreciate everything you have taught me. Thank you for always inspiring me.


Touch was special from birth. He was well raised, well mannered, well taught and well named. I say it this way because it's what he did best! He touched peoples lives and brought everyone together.

He was charismatic, loyal, super funny, adventurous, competitive; He had it all!!  Touch was one of my first friends when I moved to Brossard. Thanks to him I met some of the best childhood friends you could ever have in a lifetime; Amit Chopra, Mike, Jayson, Atti, Theo, Renée, Sean and more. We were a family of friends; reunited as brothers and sisters, because that's how we felt around Touch. 

He was everyone's little brother.  He was a good influence to me and everyone around him. He liked to dare people to take on a challenge and succeed. He was a leader. He liked to raise the bar and set the example. 

May his next life will be filled with all the greatness he deserves.

We have to take solace in knowing how many lives were greater for having Touch be part of them.   From his closest family,  thousands of crew, and hundreds of thousands of guests along the way.   
Touch, we conquered the biggest challenges our industry could throw at us, and I couldn't be prouder for doing it side by side.
