Edward Dawson

Edward J.A. Dawson, 60 years of age passed away on February 28th, 2022 of undetermined causes in his home in Brossard. He was born to Joseph and Isobel Dawson on December 26th, 1961 in Lasalle. Edward is survived by his sister Joanne Dawson, his Children James, Tiffany, and Eric Dawson and his granddaughters Ava, Mia and Maisie.

Ed was known for his love of music and especially the guitar. He had a passion for sharing knowledge with friends and loved ones. Ed’s immense talent burned so brightly that his light was seen by all who knew him. His wit was sharp, and his laugh was abundant. He taught his love for music and science fiction to his children in hopes to share a brighter future. He showed his grandchildren how to garden and take care of land.

His passing comes too soon, and his life has left a mark on the hearts of many. The memorial service will be held at La Maison Darche in Brossard on April 23rd at 2:00 pm.

Ed shared a quote he loved that Keanu Reeves shared when asked his thoughts on what happens when we die. “I know that the ones who love us will miss us.” Ed is missed so very much.
