Pauline Ruth Gallimore

GALLIMORE, Pauline Ruth, age 91 of Spring Hill, died Thursday, July 13, 2017 at her home.  She moved to Florida 25 years ago from her native, New York.  She was a retired bookkeeper for Long Island Jewish Hospital, and she remained very active through the clubs and organizations which she participated in.  She was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, NYU Alumni Association, T.O.P.S. #547, Democratic Women’s Club, African-American Club, NAACP, YMCA, Stage West Community Playhouse and the Red Hat Society.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Orrell H. Gallimore.  Survivors include her sons & daughter-in-law:  Huntley & Anne-Marie Gallimore of Spring Hill, Florida and Dwayne Gallimore of Bogota, New Jersey; daughter:  Sheila Gallimore of Marietta, Georgia; sister:  Jacqueline Campbell of Spring Hill, Florida and grandchildren:  Antonio Gallimore, Isaiah Gallimore, Elijah Gallimore and Elizabeth Gallimore.  Visitation for friends will be 6 – 8pm, Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel, with a wake service to begin at 7:00pm.  Funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00am, Friday, July 21, 2017 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.  Inurnment at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, next to her husband, will follow at a later date.  In lieu of flowers,  the family requests donations be made to one her favorite causes.
