Patricia Ann Taylor

Taylor, Patricia Ann “Pat”, age 78 of Brooksville, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Paterson, New Jersey and lived in Fort Lauderdale, before moving to Brooksville. Patricia met her husband, Wayne in the early 70’s while he was visiting friends in Brooksville.  They would have celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on September 10th.  Pat was a cosmetologist, loved to crochet and was an avid bowler, striving for and maintaining a low handicap.  She was Protestant by faith.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years:  Douglas Wayne Taylor, Sr.; sons & daughters-in-law:  Douglas Wayne, Jr. & Beth Taylor of Atlanta, Georgia, Thomas & Detra Valentine of Atlanta, Georgia and Brian & Dawn Valentine of Kosse, Texas; daughter & son-in-law:  Kim & Randy Yates of Defuniak Springs, Florida; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation for friends will be 12 – 2pm, Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville, Florida.  Graveside funeral ceremony will follow at 2:30pm, at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens.
