He was a painting contractor, a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and Methodist. He is survived by his wife of 41 years: Genevieve; son: John P. Remy, Jr. of Lansing, MI; daughter: Tabatha (Dominick) Foti of Spring Hill; brothers: Jimmy Remy of Spring Hill, Larry Remy of West Babylon,, NY, Charlie Remy of Port Richey, FL and grandchildren: Tiffany, Nicholas, Paige, Jonathan and Adelaide. Visitation for friends will be 2-4pm and 6-8pm Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel where a funeral service will be conducted at 12pm Thursday, May 12, 2011.
