With deep sadness the family of Elinore Jean LoCastro morn her passing on March 17, 2022, in Spring Hill, Florida. Born Elinore Jean Cliffe, July 3, 1926, in Mamaroneck, New York. Elinore moved to New Port Richey, Florida in 1947. She was a former employee of Gulf State Bank, a former president of The Women’s League of Voters, and Chairwomen of the Chasco Fiesta for two years. She later moved to San Jose, California where she was a packing supervisor for the Army’s Armored Personnel Carrier made by GMC Corporation. She retired to Spring Hill in 2001.
Elinore is predeceased by her husband: Russell LoCastro, granddaughter: Carmen Denegar, and son-in-law: David Bocci.
Elinore is survived by daughter: Carlise Bocci, of Florida; son and daughter-in-law: William and Lucille Denegar, of Florida; granddaughter: Kassene Anderson, of Florida; Marene Waid, of California; grandson: Vernon (Teri) Denegar, of Ohio; great-grandchildren: William Waid and Garret Waid, of California; Ava Denegar, Elise Denegar, Isabel Denegar, and Josephine Denegar, of Ohio; great-great-granddaughter: Emma Waid, of California; step-daughter: Marie Geraci, of Illinois
Elinore’s final resting place will be in Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, Florida.
