He was born on November 26, 1944, in Millville, New Jersey. Earl was happily married to Marjorie Marie Lowe for 55 years, during which they primarily resided in the state of Florida. He was a hard-working family man and public servant who devoutly supported his wife and children throughout their upbringing. He liked antiques, oldies music, video games, cooking, various gadgets, and keeping up with technology. He was the man to ask if you didn't know how valuable a trinket was. He was a firefighter and EMT at the City of Largo, at Station 41.
Earl helped establish pensions for the City of Largo's firefighters for a better quality of retirement, and was also their Union President for a time. He also provided his services as a Fire Chief for the Town of Belleair, creating a Christmas event to have Santa deliver gifts to residential children from a firetruck, which remains an annual event to this day. Earl also served in the U.S Navy.
Earl's beloved wife Marjorie predeceased him in 2020. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and stepmother, Jan Lowe.
The Lowe family would like to thank Earl's grandson, Matthew "Devin" Gatewood, for being there for him after the difficult passing of Marjorie.
Earl will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, where he will reside henceforth alongside his loving wife Marjorie.
