Donna Lou Bess

Born May 17, 1931 in South Bend, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Marion and W. Irene Bess.  She was a longtime resident of Brookville and came here 39 years ago from Marion, Indiana.  She worked for World Gospel Mission is Marion, Indiana and was a member of the Brooksville Wesleyan Church.  She enjoyed drawing and pencil art, played the trumpet, and loved gospel music.  

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Rosalie Wright.  She is survived by her sister, Cecelia Unger of Brooksville, Florida; niece Kellie Hoch (Doug) of Brooksville, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.  

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00am, Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Brooksville Wesleyan Church, where Funeral Services begin at 11:00am, with Pastor David Pletincks officiating.
