WARD, Dexter, age 63, of Brooksville, FL died Sunday, April 29, 2012 at his home. He was born in Tampa, FL and came here 38 years ago from Land O’ Lakes. He was a letter carrier with the U.S. Post Office and he enjoyed muscle cars, fishing and was a true lover of cats. He is survived by his wife: Linda; father: Daniel, both of Brooksville, FL; brother and sister-in-law: Louis and Gail Ward of Port Richey, FL;  in-laws: Roy and Janice Toler; Wiley and Jana Toler; Wade Toler; Elaine Chestnut; nephews: Steve (Connie) Toler; Joshua Lee Toler; Cayden Toler; Eric (Melinda) Toler; Dustin (Nicole) Toler; Nathan Toler; Shaun Toler; Christopher Toler; Joshua Paul Toler; Jesse Toler; Dallas (Ilka) Chesnut; Ty and Daniel Chestnut; nieces: Tori, Haleigh and Bailey. Visitation for friends will be 6-8:00pm, Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00am, Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Ehren Cemetery, Land O' Lakes.
