Carol Ann McNeal

She was born September 1, 1953, in Sparta, Wisconsin, the daughter of Ernest and Eileen (Boberg) Kujak. Carol Ann married Donald B. McNeal on July 8, 1972, in Kirkland, Illinois. They were residents of Florida since 1996 and both worked for the Department of Defense. Carol Ann had over 20 years of dedicated service. She was a devoted parishioner of the St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, participated in numerous church groups, and loved being a Eucharistic Minister until her health prevented further involvement. She attended daily Masses from her bed and always ended her day praying the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet. Dokmai Dubaj, better known as Teem to Carol Ann, was her long-time caregiver for over six years that she was very close to. A special thanks to Teem for all she did through the years and for taking great care of her!!

Surviving is her loving husband of 49 years, Donald B. McNeal; three children, Dale McNeal (Dana) of Fishers, Indiana, Joseph McNeal (Melanie) of Genoa, Illinois, and Angela Jung (Ian) of Spring Hill, Florida; seven grandchildren, Griffin and Justin McNeal, Brett, Cameron, Carson and Payton Ann Jung, and Fia McNeal; two brothers, David Kujak (Carol Jean) of Eglin, Illinois and Gary Kujak (Claudia) of Long Beach, California; many nieces, nephews, and good friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Eileen Kujak, and her granddaughter, Lainie Elle McNeal.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00-11:00am with a Rosary Prayer Service beginning at 10:30am, Monday, April 25, 2022 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel.  Following the Visitation, the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Reverend Jose George officiating.  Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, masses, or memorials, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
