Caridad H. Laboy

LABOY, Caridad H.,  age 91 of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021at Northbrook Health and Rehabilitation. She was born  on September 30, 1929 in Havana, Cuba and came to the area six years ago from Hialeah, Florida.  She worked as a seamstress in manufacturing and was Baptist by faith.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Nelson and Damaris Garcia of Jacksonville, Florida; Reverend David and Nellie Garcia of Spring Hill, Florida and Frank Garcia of New Port Richey, Florida; sister: Consuelo Llovet of New Jersey; four grandchildren: Carissa Carter, David Garcia, Mark Anthony Garcia, Nelson Lee Garcia and four great grandchildren: Caleb Carter, Brianna Carter, Grace Garcia, and Tye Garcia.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:30am-11:00am at  Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill chapel on Thursday, May 13, 2021 where funeral services will begin at 11:00am with Reverend David Garcia officiating. Interment will follow at Brooksville Cemetery.
