Barbara Gardner

Barbara Gardner, age 70, of Brooksville, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2023. Barbara was born to the late Mary and Robert Semple in St. Petersburg, FL. She graduated from St. Petersburg High and went on to earn her B.S. in Business Administration from UF in ‘74. Her final career was as a real estate agent. Barbara is survived by her darling David, husband of 37 years and many other loving family and friends who will miss her dreadfully. She will be forever in our hearts. Per her request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society or Hospice. Friends, Family and Gator fans are asked to raise a glass to her. The family wishes to thankfully acknowledge the dedicated efforts of Barbara's medical team at Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, the tender care that the Sturgill Hospice House in Brooksville provided to Barbara in her final hours and to us in our time of grief, and to Merritt Funeral Home for their caring and professional handling of final arrangements.
