Aida Brunilda Gomez

GOMEZ, Aida Brunilda, age 74 of Spring Hill, Florida, died Friday, April 14, 2017 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point.  She was born in Azua Dominican Republic, and moved to Florida 12 years ago from Atlantic City, New Jersey, where she worked in housekeeping at Harrah’s Hotel & Casino.  Mrs. Gomez was of the Catholic faith.  Survivors include her husband:  Hermenegildo; sons & daughters-in-law:  Franklyn & Marisol Gomez of Spring Hill, Florida and Wimil & Nancy Gomez of Isabela, Puerto Rico; daughter:  Jesenia Gomez of Atlantic City, New Jersey; brothers & sisters-in-law:  Cesar & Magalis Matos and Maximo & Orguidia Matos all of Dominican Republic; Manuel & Altagracia matos of Manhattan, New York; Hector & Mayra Matos of Homosassa, Florida; Victor & Melva Matos of Homosassa, Florida; sisters:  Mirian Sanchez of Manhattan, New York, Thelma of Camden, New Jersey, Francia Matos of Tamarac, Florida, Gladys Gonzalez of Dominican Republic and Mayra Matos of Brooklyn, New York; grandchildren:  Wimil Gomez, Jr., Michael A. Gomez, Manuel A. Gomez, Rachel N. Gomez, Alexander J. Gomez, Ingrid M. Gomez, Natalie R. Patterson and Michael P. Patterson, Jr.  Memorial services will be conducted 5:00pm, Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel.
