Miriam (Rubin) Weinstein

Miriam (Rubin) Weinstein of Chestnut Hill on Friday, June 3, 2022. For 46 years, she was the beloved wife of the late Louis Weinstein. Loving mother of Karen & Lewis Edgers, Bruce & Sherrie Weinstein and the late Jerold “Jerry” Weinstein & his surviving wife Cheryl Weinstein. Adored Bobi of Rachel & Doug Shamah, Dr. Stacey & Eric Tavel, Geoff Edgers & Carlene Hempel, Liz Berman & Eric Berman, Lindsey & Avi Herscovici and Ashley Weinstein. She was also adored by her 13 great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Vivian Kane.

For many years, Miriam lived in a two-family home in Mattapan with her sister’s family on the first floor. She loved family gatherings and baking and cooking for family and friends. She was very high energy, fiercely independent, and mischievous. She told great stories and worked until she was 90 years old. Miriam survived COVID and almost made it to her 101st birthday! The family thanks the staff at Chestnut Park for the love and care that they provided.

Graveside services at Kehillath Jacob Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury at 12 noon on Tuesday. All attendees must be masked and vaccinated. Please do not attend if you are ill.

Shiva will be private.
