He was born September 25th, 1928, in Boston, Massachusetts. Len was the last surviving child of Mary and Harry Lederman and was a devoted and loving son.
Leonard was well-known as the owner of Lederman’s Bakery of Newton. With his hard work and dedication, he built a lasting legacy not only for his family but for the community and was beloved by everyone who visited his bakery. Whether it was his famous rugelach, sufganiyot or hamantaschen, Leonard loved sharing traditional Jewish pastries that would be passed through generations. Leonard spent his retirement in Delray Beach, Florida where he loved swimming, tennis and bridge, as he would often remind his family, he was one of the top bridge players in the state. He was driven by determination and hard work and even in his retirement was adamant about staying busy and would always remind his family about the importance of daily walks and exercise.
