Irma (Belansky) Jacobson, 85, formerly of Needham, MA, on Saturday, December 6, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Jacobson for 64 years. Born in Malden, MA, predeceased by her parents Samuel & Esther Belansky. Loving mother of Jack & Bonnie Jacobson, Marilyn & Scott Moldoff, David & Betsy Jacobson, Janna & Ron Curtis. Adoring grandmother of Reuben & Mara, Jason & Talya, Erica, Brett & Blair, Max & Elana and Lisa. Great-grandmother of Daniel, Emma, and Asher. Irma lived a committed Jewish life. She was devoted to yidddishkeit and the State of Israel.

Funeral services at the Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon, on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 12noon.Following the burial, memorial observance will be at the home Marilyn and Scott until 4:30pm and continuing 6:30-8:30pm and on Tuesday from 1:00-4:30pm and 6:30-8:30pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to National Yiddish Book Center, www.yiddishbookcenter.org or Lewy Body Dementia Association, www.lbda.org.
