He was welcomed into Heaven on April 21, 2024 by his wife of 68 years Joyce Szymanski, who preceded him in death in 2016.
Chester was father to James (Joy) and Michael (Denise) Szymanski.
Grandfather to Michael (Elizabeth), Daniel, and David (Lyndsey) Szymanski .
Great Grandfather to Evelyn, Maximilion, and Eliza Szymanski.
Chester was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sophie Szymanski. Brother Edward (Lynn) Szymanski, Sisters Veronica (Bob) Woodrow, Florence (Leo) Kujawa, Beatrice (Arthur) LaDow and special Brother In Law Richard Neuman. He is survived by his Beloved Sister Marie Neuman, as well as many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
Chester proudly served in the Army Air Corps in WW 2 following his brother Edward. He married the love of his life Joyce September 11, 1948. Chester worked at Milprint Inc. for 42 years until his retirement in 1982. Chester and Joyce ran the local Boy Blue Ice Cream store in Menomonee Falls for 8 years. After retirement Chester also served as VP of Travel Plus, Jim's travel agency. Chester and Joyce loved to travel throughout the USA and abroad. Their favorite destination was Hong Kong and the Far East which they visited five times. Chester loved attending Farm Auctions in the surrounding areas. He enjoyed dealing his wares at the Cedarburg Fireman's Park and the Holy Hill Flea Market .
Visitation will be held Friday June 7th at Wisconsin Memorial Park Chapel of the Chimes (Main Bldg)
