In his retirement Al enjoyed fixing and building things, finding anyway to entertain his restless spirit. He was well known for his love of animals, especially his late dog Napoleon and his cat Shadow, and for taking in many of the neighborhood stray cats. Al will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his contributions to his community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
