Joan "Jodie" Coe

COE, Joan “Jodie” - Age 88 of Nashville, passed away April 05, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. "Babe" Coe; and two sisters, Brownie Fowlkes and Nancye Hatcher. Survived by son, William (Rachel) Coe and daughter, Lisa (Mike) Lowe; four grandchildren, Miah (Scott) Faircloth, Micca (Scott) Hornbuckle, Mac Crome, and Cannon Coe; two great-grandchildren, Baird Faircloth, Coe Hornbuckle; and the two outstanding caregivers who were more like guardian angels, Billie Jean Stratton and Belinda McClerkin. A Celebration of Life service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 9th of April 2013 at Brenthaven Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kip Rush officiating. Visitation for friends and family will be held two hours prior to the service at the church, 516 Franklin Rd., Brentwood, TN 37027. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Those to serve as Active Pallbearers include: Mike Lowe, Scott Faircloth, Scott Hornbuckle, Mac Crome, Cannon Coe, and Jimmy Carson. Honorary Pallbearers include: Lee Roy Satterwhite and Ed Bryan along with the members of the Fellowship Loyalty Class. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Brenthaven Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a place where she worshipped and held her membership for over 60 years.
