She was born in Whiteville, Tennessee on December 11, 1958.
She is preceded in death by her parents, R.P. Bass, Jr. and Evelyn Bass.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 30 years, Don Scholes; two daughters, Claire Scholes and Mari Leigh Scholes; and two brothers, Bert Bass and Martin Bass.
Elaine’s family will receive visitors on Friday, January 8, 2016 from six to eight o’clock in the evening and on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from one to two o’clock in the afternoon at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, at 9010 Church Street East, Brentwood, TN 37027.
Funeral services will be conducted immediately after the Saturday visitation at two o’clock at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 9010 Church Street East, Brentwood, TN 37027.
Interment to take place on Sunday, January 10, 2016, at two o’clock in Melrose Cemetery, Whiteville, Tennessee.
