Donna Fitz Livingston

Born on Feb. 27, 1947 in Nashville, she was the second of six children born to the late Robert E. Fitz and Bettye R. Fitz. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Springfield, VA and the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. During her youth she traveled all over the world with her military family before finding her way back to Nashville where she met her husband.

Donna was married to her beloved husband, David Livingston, for 56 years. Donna worked her post college years for President Allan Steele at Life and Casualty Insurance Company. After raising her son Chance, she worked as church secretary at Bethlehem United Methodist Church where she was very active member and made many wonderful friends. She was later a charter member of Family Community Church where she was very involved in the youth program.

Donna was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend who is remembered for her lighthearted nature, strength of spirit, and commitment to her faith and family. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her three grandchildren.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bob Fitz. Donna is survived by her husband, David Livingston; son, Chance (Jennifer) Livingston; grandchildren, Addison, Olivia and David Livingston; sister, Cindy (Chuck) Lassing; brothers, Tony (Yvonne) Fitz, Mike (Jan) Fitz and Ron (Bunny) Fitz; sister-in-law, Patty Fitz; and many nieces and nephews.

A Gathering of Family and Friends for Donna will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A Funeral Service will occur Friday, December 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A Graveside Service will follow Friday, December 1, 2023 in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to an animal sanctuary of your choice.
