Mr Outlaw was one of the two most influential men in my life. His constant and unwavering faith, love for family , his commitment to helping others and leadership by example has helped guide me to be a better person.  I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to have had such an amazing person in my life. Thank you Mr Outlaw.

Just wanted to share my condolences to the Outlaw family. I pray that you rely on fond memories and the love from family and friends to get you through this difficult time. Hugs.

Oh how we loved our dear neighbor, Mr. Outlaw. He was one of the most dignified and gracious men we have known, and will forever be in our hearts.

We only moved to the block recently so we don't have a lot of chances to get to know Mr. Outlaw in person. But from the stories we've heard from our fellow neighbors, we know how his presence has been the mainstay for the neighborhood, and his kindness and service to others a constant. 

Our condolences to his family. He will be dearly missed.

Mr Outlaw was simply the warmest person I have ever met. He welcomed us into the neighborhood and was a constant presence for us, our children, our parents, and everyone else who had the good fortune of passing him on the street - even better when we got to come inside and chat. His life is an inspiration to us all.

Carolyn, my friend, my deepest sympathy to you and family! We have a hope that burns within our hearts! Soon and very soon we will see the King and be reunited with our loved ones. 🙏🏾 for the family.  ❤️ 

This is just one of many days where the kids would hop out of the car and run to Mr. Outlaw's stairs.  It helped that Mr. Outlaw had treats, but he sure made them smile after a long day!

We are very sad to hear of Mr. Outlaw's passing.  We lived across the street from him for nearly 15 years, and he was always the highlight of coming or going from home.  He stood on his stairs and waved goodbye, took care of our packages, and provided sweets for every kid and parent that walked in his door.  We would enjoy watching Family Feud with him, talking about his life growing up and working in the city, indulge in his block party BBQ feast, and wishing him happy birthday every year.  We loved cooking and baking for him, and he always pretended it was really good. He was pure joy to be around.

Even on bad days, Mr. Outlaw could make you feel better by simply saying "Hello, beautiful" or "Hello, handsome."  He has a good story behind that, btw!  But, nothing made me smile more than when I asked how his day was and he would reply, "It's much better now that I've seen you!"  

This is Charlie and Mr. Outlaw.  Charlie (now 8) was sad to hear the news of Mr. Outlaw's passing, and really wanted to say goodbye before he went to heaven, but didn't get the chance.  If he could, he would have said "Goodbye, Handsome."

My deepest condolences for you and your family. May God comfort you during this difficult time.
