Kelvin James Mason, 45, slipped into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, April 8, 2023.
Kelvin was born on August 17, 1977, to Willie J. Mason, Jr. and Patricia A. Mason in Fort Rucker, Alabama. He was the third of four children. He received his education through Prince William and Prince George’s County school systems.
Family and friends were an essential part of Kelvin’s life. He had four children who he loved dearly, Keora, Kierah, Kelvin Jr., and Keandre. He touched many lives and created lifelong friendships. Kelvin loved football, listening to music, wearing the latest trends in clothing and tennis shoes, dancing, and fixing computers. He was a hard worker with a broad work portfolio that included working for the Department of the Army, Xerox, Shenandoah Milk Company, Transcendia, and Hilldrup.
He is survived by his parents, Patricia A. Mason and Willie J. Mason, Jr., (Pat); his four children, Keora S. Mason, Kelvin J. Mason, Jr., Kierah A. Mason, and Keandre A. Mason; two sisters, Cathy D. Mason, and Nicole D. Rutherford (Melvin) and brother Gregory J. Mason, (Tamica), his nieces and nephews; Melanie, Madison, Melvin, Jr., Kristan, and Kori-Klarke, Grandmother Rosa Lee Evans, and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his late Grandmother, Mattie Mason, and Grandfather Willie J. Mason, Sr., and Grandfather John Evans, Sr.
