John “Randy” Randolph Hoffman was born November 9, 1964, to James Richard Hoffman and Theresa Viola Hoffman (Simms) in Washington DC. The Hoffman family settled in Colmar Manor, Md. Where they lived for the next 35 years.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Buckey-Hoffman of 31 years, children Emily Ann Vidal (Joseph Wayne Vidal) and Joshua Ryan Hoffman. Grandsons Joseph Tyler Vidal, Hayden Christopher Butler, Dylan Cole Butler. He is also survived by his brother Roger Hoffman (Cynthia Hoffman), Sister Waverly Taylor (Randy Taylor). Sister in law Pamela Andrews, Brother in law Richard Buckey (Gina Buckey), Sister in law Kimberly Menefee (Tom Menefee). Randy is preceded in death by his father James Richard Hoffman, mother Theresa Viola Hoffman, and sister Mildred Christine Squires. Randy is lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
Randy enjoyed spending time with all his friends and family, he loved taking long walks in nature and reading his bible, He was faithful and God loving man. He was a hardworking, strong, loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather.
Randy loved to cook or grill a good steak. He loved to travel, see new places, and spend time outdoors.
Physically you are gone, but your memory will live on forever.
A memorial gathering for John will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a memorial service from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
