Barbara R. Sutter

Barbara was born January 3, 1947 in Washington, D.C. to James Ashby and Mary Marie Rollins (Hudson) and passed away at Frederick Memorial Hospital. After Barbara had multiple strokes in 2019, her poor body just wore out and it was time for her to go home with Him.

She is survived by ex-husband James H. Sutter; two daughters, Janet (Scott) and Lisa (Kenneth); her adult grandchildren, Joshua (Kristin), Victoria (James), and Karli; her three great-grandchildren, Charlotte Belle and James Otto Wenzlaff, and Jack Houston Bendit; her two brothers, Richard (Geraldine - deceased) and James (Patricia), and brother-in-law, Ugo (now living in Italy). Preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Janet; and her son, Joseph.

Services will be held at Ft Lincoln Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 p.m. Barbara will then be laid to rest in the family plot purchased by her parents in 1946 at Ft Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD.

In lieu of flowers, she requested donations be made in her name to the ASPCA.
