Fred Spitaleri, 89, passed away on July 11, 2024, in Brentwood, CA. Born on May 19, 1935, Fred lived a life marked by positivity and warmth. Those who knew him were often touched by his kindhearted nature and his unwavering ability to see the good in people and situations. Fred always focused on keeping the peace and doing the right thing, no matter what the situation. Fred was well known for his sense of humor, often sharing jokes that, while sometimes corny, never failed to bring laughter to those around him.
A humble God loving man, Fred's loving demeanor and cheerful outlook will be missed by his family, friends and all who kla the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of kindness and joy continues to inspire those he left behind. Fred was a devoted loving husband, father, father-in-law, stepfather, grandfather, and friend.
Fred served our country while stationed in South Korea for a brief time. After Fred was discharged from the Army, he became a teacher and taught US History for 35 years. After his retirement, he continued to teach current events at West Valley College and later at a senior citizen home.
Fred will be deeply missed by his wife, Frankie Spitaleri, Son Rick, Daughters Yvette and Julie, stepdaughters Cheryl, Debbie, Wendy, and Frankie Rae, twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
