Sheri Lyn Story, CMSgt , USAF (Ret), 53, lost her battle to breast cancer on Oct. 25, 2015. Sheri proudly served her country for 22 years and served her community as teacher in the Bethel School District. Her vibrant spirit and gracious style touched so many in different ways. She would say “Live as if this is all there is.”
She was born in Tacoma, June 1, 1962 to Francis Harris and Betty Potter (Simmons). She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Stephen; her daughter, Ashley; her twin sons, Brian and Kyle; and three grandchildren, Julien, Adrien, and Evelyn.
Sheri will be laid to rest on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 5505 Kitsap Way, Bremerton, Washington. Chapel services followed by burial begin at 12 noon.
