Mr. Jerry Rannie

Peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice on Monday August 9, 2010 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Grace (Routly). Dear father of Joanne White (Bill); David (Arden Redfern); Susan Rannie (Ron Bowman). Dear grandfather of Alex, Graham, Riley, Adam and Shea. Brother of Howard and Anne Marie, Mary Ann and Don Bender, Dianne Werner, Suzanne Rannie (Clive Adamson ). Dear brother in law of Anna and Don Willcox. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Jerry was retired from the Bank of Montreal and then enjoyed many years working at Drumbo Tent. He was a member of the Brant Curling Club since 1970 and was a former member of the Kinsmen Club of London. At Jerry's request, cremation has taken place.

The family will receive friends at the “Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel” 96 West Street on Thursday August 12th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. and on Friday August 13th from 12 noon until 1 pm. A celebration of Jerry’s life will take place in the chapel at 1 pm. followed by an interment at Oakhill Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated.
