Dorothy Brooks

Peacefully with family by her side at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday August 21st 2018. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Brooks. Loving mother of Larry, Laurie (Joe) and predeceased by son Denny and daughter Vicki. Mother figure to Dianna Schram. Dear grandmother to Joey (Sonya), Krissy (Wes), T.J. (Deklan), Mindy (Chris), Clara, Larry (predeceased), Bob, Brian, Nikki, Madison, Nick. Many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the staff at Sheridan Lodge for making her feel like family. The nurses and staff at the BGH SP 7B for keeping her comfortable and to Melissa for making all of us feel like family. You were wonderful to her. To her best friend Joyce, thank you for always helping her and being there for her. She loved you. In honouring Dorothy’s wish, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of her Life will be held in the Thorpe Brothers Carriage House, 96 West Street on Monday August 27th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
