Mrs. Angeline Boyd

Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre on Saturday October 30, 2010 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Harry Boyd. Loving mother of Patricia ( late Ross) O’Leary, Margaret Boyd, and the late Joseph Boyd. Dear Nana of Mary Jo (Chris) Rodgers, Agnes (Kevin) Hill, Patrick (Kim) O’Leary, Danielle, Brett and Brook Locey and the late Kelly Rodgers. Great Nana to Andrew, Teresa and Emily-Anne Hill, Amanda and Kathryn Rodgers, Sean, Nick, Ashley O'Leary and Madeleine Locey. Sister of Elizabeth Hickey and Helen James, predeceased by brothers Donald, Allen and Gordon Macdonell, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Angeline was a 50 + year member of St. Pius X Catholic Women’s League. She was devoted to Catholic Education, was instrumental in the founding of St. Leo’s School and was a retired employee of Kingsway Transport.

The family will receive friends at the ‘Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel, 96 West Street on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. CWL Wake Service at 3 pm. Parish Prayers at 8:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, 9 Waverly Street on Wednesday November 3rd at 10:00 am. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre would be appreciated.
