Scaglione, Tony Noto, 87, born February 16, 1930 in Tampa, Florida passed away peacefully Monday, July 17 surrounded by family. Tony served his country for 2 years in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He grew up in Ybor City, and spent his childhood working in the family restaurant, Americus Restaurant, where he later became the owner and operator of Tony’s Ybor Restaurant. He dedicated himself to the family restaurant where he cooked, greeted customers and made great friends over the past 75 years. He was a beloved husband and father. Tony was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Loner. He is survived by his three wonderful sons and their families, Joseph Scaglione with grandsons, Joseph and James, Michael Scaglione and his wife Jackie with grandchildren, Mariel and Michael and his wife Samantha, and Larry Scaglione with his wife Lucille and three grandchildren, Lucia, Tony and Vince. Tony is also survived by his brother Basil and his sister Lily Chao. Tony enjoyed his life to the fullest with his family and through the many restaurant friends over the years. Your thoughts and prayers have been greatly appreciated. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 22, 9:00 – 11:00, services at 11:00 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon (813)689-8121.
