Thomas “Tinker” James Flynn III, passed away on February 15, 2022 at the age of 75. Tinker was born on February 14, 1947 in Wilmington, DE. He later pitched for the Tampa Tarpons, married Rosina at 19 and served in the Army for 6 years, mainly stationed in Germany. He worked in the electrical motor repair industry for most of his career and coached baseball, teaching hundreds of young boys the fundamentals and his love for the game. He loved working in his yard and cracking jokes, but most of all he loved his family and took care of his own the best he knew how. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Marguerite. He leaves behind his wife, Rosina (Guagliardo) and children, Melissa (Steve) and Patrick (Jennifer). He was grandfather to Audrey, Kevin and Lindsay and great grandfather to Gabriel, Aspen and Jasmine. He was brother to Gail, Karen and John. He also leaves behind Parker, his chocolate lab.
A graveside service for Tinker will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 S. W. 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513. A visitation will occur Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Bell Shoals Church, 2102 Bell Shoals Road, Brandon, FL 33511. A memorial service will occur Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bell Shoals Church, 2102 Bell Shoals Road, Brandon, FL 33511.
