Robert "Bob" Allen Houze, Sr.

HOUZE, Robert “Bob” Allen Sr., 79, of Brandon, passed away on September 25, 2015. Mr. Houze was a member of Nativity Catholic Church and was also a Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. Bob was a “Jack of All Trades”. He was a boat and motor mechanic and a history buff who loved fishing, hunting, boating, and photography.

He is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Margaret Houze; brothers, Carol, William, Thomas, Michael, and sister, Nancy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Alberta; son, Bob (Indira) Houze Jr. of Brandon; daughter, Connie (Bill) Russell of Ruskin; brother, Donald Houze of Kentucky; sister, Sharon Harold of Kentucky; grandchildren, Sophia (Nelson) Houze-Escobar of Tampa; Christina Russell of Riverview; Robert “Alan” Houze III of Brandon; great-grandchildren, Ethan Escobar and Madison Escobar and a host of other family members, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL 33511. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Entombment will follow at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
