Hoinkis, Robert Otto “Bob”, on January 26th, died after a long illness in Valrico, FL. He was the son of Otto Christopher and Mabel Elizabeth (nee Kirkpatrick). He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Margaret Claire “Peg” (nee Berkelbach), four sons, Robert Scott (Josephine), Chris (Norma), Matthew (Julie) and Timothy (Lucy), five grandchildren, Alexis, Derek, Adam, Kenzie and Kyla, two step grandchildren, Michael and Sarah Orlando and one sister, Sarah Jane Lehew. He was proceeded to death by one brother, Joseph James and one sister, Kathryn Elizabeth. Bob was born and raised in (North) Philadelphia, and graduated from Dobbins Vocational School. He served honorably in the US Army in the 1950’s. Bob was a lifelong meat cutter by trade, and was a retired member of the United Food & Commercial Workers, Local 56. He started with Food Fair and Pantry Pride, and then later opened his own business in Audubon, NJ called the “Stately Steer”. Bob and Peg eventually moved to Valrico in 2009. A celebration of life will take place at 12pm on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home of Brandon, Florida.
