Born in Wilmington, Delaware on October 6, 1955 to Mareno (Joe) and Pauline (McNelly) Cicconi, Mike passed away at his home on December 10, 2016. His family moved to Cleveland when he was a young boy. He attended Brecksville-Broadview Hts. High School and had a long career with ARC Drilling. Mike was married to Sandy Countryman and together they had a daughter, Dina, and a son, Michael. He later married Bethany Bohne and together raised her two sons, Jeffrey and Patrick, and two daughters, Siobhan and Jessica. Mike was such an extraordinary person that even after divorce, he maintained a warm friendship with both Sandy and Beth. So much so that their families, including Sandy’s children Abbey and Dylan, became one. Mike’s life was a maze of twists and turns, ups and downs, and obstacles, but he never gave up. One of his greatest passions, other than his family, was playing the blues. He sang and played harmonica for the band Creatures of Habit for many years. He loved to cook (and eat) and enjoyed a good game of poker or bingo. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Penny Cicconi, and his beloved daughter, Dina Marie Cicconi. Left to honor Mike and remember his love are his children, Michael Cicconi, Jeffrey (Emily) Bohne, Siobhan (Tellis) Brown, Jessica Bohne and Patrick Bohne; his grandchildren, Peyton Taylor, Saoirse Bohne, Lochlan Bohne and Telah Brown; sisters Maureen Clark, Linda (Terry) VanHoozer and Maryann (Buggie) Reed; nieces Stacy VanHoozer and Megan Knowles; nephews Jason Kukwa and Randy Kukwa. Mike’s family would like to express their love and appreciation to Karen Parker for all her support and friendship. Mike will be remembered as a man with a quick-wit, a hearty laugh, a healthy sense of sarcasm, and the ability to tell a good joke. He will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Life memorial is being planned for April 8, 2017, in Brecksville.
