I am so grateful for having had Marta as part of my family.  The last years of her life, my parents, my son and I had the privilege of spending many a holiday with her and the rest of the family.  Always kind and sweet to me, Marta gave me and my son her blessing (la bendicion) and most importantly, the blessing of her presence.  I will never forget all those Christmases and Thanksgivings singing with Joe and Marta with the little maraca.  Sometimes she even got up to dance!  The last time I saw her was Mother's Day and as always, we had a great time in the fold of our big family.  Marta, hasta siempre, nos vemos en el otro lado.  Se que has regresado al origen, al Padre Creador.  A tu familia, que es mi familia, mi amor y mi carino de siempre.  Aunque no me vean en persona, siempre los acompano en espiritu.
