Joan Marie Anthony

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Joan Marie Anthony, on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 at the young age of 50. She was born on November 26th 1973 in Virginia Beach and lived a life filled with love, compassion, and joy.

She was known for her undeniable presence, her bold character, and her knowledge of health and nutrition. Marie was a remarkable woman who had a big heart that was open to almost anyone she came across. Her warmth and strength touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Marie is survived by her grandmother Frances Rainwaters, mother Joan Peacock, her three children Cody Hibbs, Ashley Harnage, and James LaCarrubba, her brothers Richard Peacock and his family, and Sterling Peacock, and fiancé Aron Arkon. She was preceded in death by her father Ronald Anthony and her grandfather James Rainwaters.

Joan Marie Anthony was loved by her extensive family and friends, and will be forever missed and cherished in our hearts.

Due to the recent hurricane, the celebration of life for Joan will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33614. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
