Newman, James Norman, 77, of Riverview passed away peacefully on Monday, January 23, 2012. He was born on April 30, 1934 in Boerne, Texas to the late Lemuel and Mamie. James was predeceased by his son, James Edward Norman. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Sible; sons, Roy Rose and his wife, Linda, Jesse Lemuel Newman and his wife, Theresa, and John Wesley Newman and his wife, Angela; daughters, Cyndi Helton and her husband, Kenneth and Felina Stanley and her husband, Allen; sister, Lorraine Hubble; 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 26, at 10:00 AM both at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon.
