Grace Patricia Graves

As an infant, Grace was adopted by Agnes and Ira Shaffer. She grew up in the Tampa area where she attended Hillsborough High School, graduating in 1955.

Growing up, Grace spent a lot of time at her mother's beauty shop in their home as well as on 200 acres of land that family members owned. This was where she learned to shoot her first rifle and rode her first horse, Nelly. The family's home was always open whenever someone needed a place to stay, whether that was for a short while or a little bit longer. They could always count on a good meal and a place to sleep.

Later in life, Grace spent time working as a pharmacy technician and enjoyed spending time with her loving family.

Grace is survived by Jeffrey Arbisi, Ronald Arbisi (Patricia), Stephen Graves (Michele), Margaret Graves, Glenda Booker (Matthew), and Daniel Graves (Kristy), as well as nine grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Grace will be held Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, Florida 33511. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 12, 2019 at 10:00 AM, 401 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, Florida 33511. A committal service will occur Monday, August 12, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, 4202 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610. A burial will occur at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, 4202 E Lake Ave, Tampa, Florida 33610.
