QUICK, Frances Mildred, 80, of Thonotosassa went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 25, 2011 after a lengthy illness. She spent most of her life in the Bloomingdale and Thonotosassa area as a devoted loving wife and mother. In the mid 1950’s she was a model and window dresser for JC Penney and Maas Brothers. Frances was a strong willed good hearted person who was loved by all her knew her. She and Ted were long time residents of Spanish Main Resort and were well respected and will be fondly remembered. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted of 56 years; mother and father, Rene and Mildred Rodriquez; and sisters, Lilly and Margaret. She is survived by her brother, Rene “Rod” Rodriquez (Mary Jo) of Daytona Beach; sister, Dorothy Fennell (Amos); two sons, Jim Quick (Rhonda) and Steve Quick (Betty); and daughter, Kelly Quick; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren all of the Tampa Bay area. “ We will always love you and carry you in our hearts forever”. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2011 at Stowers Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Bloomingdale Cemetery, 3303 Bloomingdale Avenue, Valrico, FL 33596.
