BURNETT, Catherine Clark, 99, entered into rest August 20, 2014. Born in Brooks County, Ga., Catherine was a long time resident of the Balm area and a member of Alafia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Rev. Fred Burnett, Sr.; daughter, Mary Catherine Linzy; grandson, Deron Burnett. Survivors include her, daughters, Beryl C. Fernandez, Bebe Riker (Lee); sons, Delbert M., Allison E. (Betty), Fredrick E. Jr. (Pauline); son-in-law, Art Linzy; daughter-in-law Billee Burnett; sisters, Pauline Folsom, Jo Hanna; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2014 at Alafia Baptist Church, 222 Alafia Church Rd., Lithia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
