Philip Joel Little Sr.

Philip was born in Springfield,N.J on February 2, 1941, to the late Alonzo W. and Gladys (Hopkins) Little. Philip grew up in Lafayette and was a lifelong Sussex County resident. He graduated from Newton High School in 1959. He joined Steamfitter Local #475 until 1967 when he established, PJ Little Plumbing and Heating. As a resident of Stillwater, N.J, he became a lifetime member of the Stillwater Fire Department. In retirement, Philip enjoyed taking care of his farm in upper New York State. Philip was a life-long member of the Kittatinny Masonic Lodge #164. He was known for being an outdoorsman; he loved going camping, fishing and hunting.

The beloved husband of 60 years to Faith (van den Heuvel) Little, Philip is survived by his children, Philip Joel Little, Jr., Karl B. Little and his wife, Tami and Taffy Banghart and her husband, Scott Shadis; his grandchildren, Meghan (Paul), Erin (Matthew), Brianna (Dan), Devin and Daisy; his great-grandchildren, Avery, Cooper, Parker, Quinn and Paisley and his siblings, Alonzo W. Little (Margaret) and Sally Yanvary. Along with his parents, Philip is predeceased by his brother-in-law, John Yanvary and his daughter-in-law, Donna Little.

A celebration of life will take place from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Stillwater Area Volunteer Fire Company, 929 Stillwater Rd, Newton, NJ 07860. Condolences can be offered to the family online at www.woodfuneralhome.net
